There are 2 types of Blackjack table open for you, a solo play and an open table. In both cases you bet before you receive cards, and then try to get 21 or as close as you can without going over. In the open game you can see other players hands, but you only play against the house. The usual options to split doubles and bank against the house apply. You stand to double your money if you beat the house, and lose your bet if you don’t.
With 2 poker games available you can pick your play style, there is the classic Texas Hold’em and a solo version in the Video Poker part of the lobby. Texas Hold’em puts you against other players with hidden cards. You choose your buy in based on the coins you have available. And play with 2 you can see, with 5 cards on the table that you cant. The betting rounds are standard, and you can call, fold and check as normal. However the poker tables do not seem to have a limit on them, so you can buy in with a small amount and end up playing against someone with a far higher coins total than you.
Video Poker is a solo game against the house, where you get 5 cards on a deal, and then get to keep as many as you want and re deal a 2nd hand. You need to try and get certain combinations, starting at pairs of Jacks or higher, all the way to flushes and straights. You bet per hand, and the prizes for winning are labeled along with the hands that you need. This is a much more challenging form of poker, as you only get 1 re deal and you need high hands to win the higher amounts.
Where this game differs from the standard casino style is the customisation options available to you, from the clothes you wear to your hairstyle you can choose everything. Once you have set up a free account and named your character, you can buy outfits to suit your style, from black tie to pool wear. All of the clothes are available for coins, so the more you win the more stylish you can be.
You are also given a starting hotel room, with the option to upgrade as you win more money, all the way up to VIP rooms.
